Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

An exciting opportunity to join our client, a leading global manufacturer who are now looking to recruit a Customer Service Team Manager.  The successful candidate will lead the Customer Service Team with 6/8 direct reports based at their facility on the outskirts of Pontefract / Castleford.

Responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the team, driving performance excellence and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction whilst working in collaboration with the wider leadership team to foster a positive, team orientated culture.

The role would suit candidates with a proven background in leading high performing teams in a fast paced, customer centric environment. In addition, our client has stipulated that candidates must have prior experience and knowledge of SAP along with strong leadership and relationship building skills.

On offer is a generous remuneration package comprising of a basic salary £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE), employer pension contribution up to 15%, private healthcare, life insurance, company bonus scheme and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.


  • Proven experience in a customer focused Team Management role
  • Experience of managing teams and developing individuals

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • IT literate with experience in the use of SAP, MS Excel, MS Word
  • Analytical skills with the ability to produce reports
  • Results driven approach and solutions orientated
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good level of numeracy
