INSTALLATIONS ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL TRAINING PROVIDED!

Our client is a growing manufacturer who boast an impressive portfolio of customers in the UK and internationally.

They now require an Installations Engineer to assemble and test specialist equipment at their manufacturing facility near Huddersfield, in addition to carrying out installations and service works at customer sites.

Electrical training can be provided to develop the successful candidate’s electrical and diagnostic skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Mechanical assembly of equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Installation of equipment, service works and repair of equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
• Engage with customers, understanding their needs and providing excellent service.
• Work with colleagues on projects.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Experience in a similar role; Multi Skilled Engineer, Installations Engineer, Commissioning Engineer.
• Experience assembling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of pneumatic setup and operation.
• Familiar with with Siemens PLC, touch screens and wiring diagrams.
• Full, Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas on occasion – valid Passport required.
