The Packaging Buyer will be based at the company head quarters working alongside an established team.

Reporting into the Purchasing Director, the Packaging Buyer will be responsible for:

• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers
• Building relationships with new suppliers
• Negotiating pricing and contracts with suppliers
• Working cross function to deliver bespoke packaging solutions
• Supporting stakeholders to help them resolve any issues with packaging performance
• Developing and executing plans to further reduce packaging supply costs
• Staying up to date with developments in packaging technology

What you’ll need:

• Experience in purchasing and procurement of packaging
• Background in the FMCG sector
• Commercially aware
• Strong relationship building skills
• Skilled negotiator
• Full UK driving licence
