The Company

This multi award-winning wholesaler, based on the outskirts of Leeds, supply engineering parts and lubricants worldwide.

With ambitious plans for the business, the Directors are looking for a Sales and Stock Coordinator, with experience in engineering parts sales, trade sales, stock analysis, stock management or similar, to join their dynamic team.

The company have fostered a people-oriented culture and are committed to developing their employees. As such, the Sales and Stock Coordinator position is offered with a clearly defined development path to become General Manager.

The Job

As Sales and Stock Coordinator you will act as the face of the business and be the first point of contact for new and existing customers. The role is centred around dealing with inbound customer enquiries, building relationships with customers, stock analysis and stock management.

Duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for telephone calls and email
  • Ensuring all quotes are followed through to conclusion
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing, inactive and prospect customers
  • Managing cost effective purchasing for stock and sales orders
  • Building and maintaining relationships with UK and international suppliers
  • Organising overseas orders by liaising with suppliers and shipping agents
  • Maintaining and reviewing top selling items in core ranges
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensuring all KPIs are delivered and recorded in relevant systems
  • Acting as cover for the CEO/Consultant when they are not available

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in engineering parts sales, trade sales, stock analysis, stock management or similar
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Strong data and trend analysis skills
  • Desire to develop and grow professionally
  • Motivated and driven to succeed
  • Computer literate – proficient in MS Office and able to pick up new systems quickly
