PROJECT COORDINATOR

Our client is a multi-disciplinary organisation which supplies specialist services to the construction industry. They are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join their team. The company have a national presence and offer a generous benefits package including 33 days holiday entitlement, opportunity to buy additional holidays, cycle to work scheme and staff rewards programme.  

The purpose of the role is co-ordinate the day-to-day operations by assigning project work to consultants and to manage their diaries.

PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Schedule inspection works in accordance with project budget, customer requirements and company operating procedures to ensure efficient delivery of service and utilisation of inspection personnel
  • Resolve operations issues and challenges effectively to minimise delays, down-time and meet customer requirements
  • Ensure all scheduling and planning is correctly entered into our systems
  • Ensuring prompt management of client queries, complaints and concerns
  • Basic tracking of actual job cost against project forecast
  • Managing training matrix, ensuring existing competencies are maintained, booking training courses
  • Collation of information for site packs, including method statements, risk assessments and other documentation
  • Project cost controls and tracking of accrued revenue

PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly organised individual with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. You will also need to be an analytical and problem-solving individual who has clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written. To be considered, you must have:

  • Previous administrative/operational experience
  • Strong communication skills and organisational abilities
  • Previous experience in a customer services or client focused role
  • Excellent IT skills – particularly excel
