Our client is a leading business and specialist in the Commercial boiler sector. They have ambitious growth plans and require a Technical Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales in the Northwest/M62 Coordinator.

We are keen to speak with candidates who demonstrate proven sales and relationship management experience with a plate heat exchanger background.

Responsibilities as Technical Sales Manager:

  • Maintain and exceed customer expectations, fostering enduring relationships.
  • Develop new business partnerships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
  • Simplify product selection for customers, providing robust solutions.
  • Assist with documentation and project specifications.
  • Ensure seamless customer experience from inquiry to aftersales support.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Provide feedback on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Deliver deadline-driven reports on KPIs and performance.
  • Maintain CRM records and manage customer interactions.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and project logging for accurate solutions.
  • Organize and conduct client meetings for various purposes.
  • Offer innovative solutions with support to the wider team.

What You’ll Need as a Technical Sales Manager:

  • Sales management.
  • Commercial and/or industrial heating/hot water knowledge.
  • Consultant led business development.
  • Site/Project evaluation.
  • Supporting customers with development of large scale/value projects.
  • Time management/Meeting strict deadlines.
  • SAP CRM and quoting systems (or similar)
  • Microsoft office documents: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Teams/Zoom digital conferencing.
  • Analysing sales data.
  • Report generation.
